Pratigi is located at approximately 200 km north from Ilhéus (this distance will be reduced to 150 km with the new road that will link Itacaré to Camamu), 65 km from Valença and 250 km south from Salvador.

The access by road is made by BA001 highway and by a 25 km paved road that ends in the beach. By sea, we have the Boipeba Island at north and Barra Grande at south, in the Maraú Peninsula.
