Pratigi is approximately 15 km long. At north, we have Carvalhos Bar, in front of the south end, we have Boipeba Island, and Apaga Fogo Edge at south, bordering Serinhaém beach, at Camamu Bay.

Except by a few beach booths located at the arrival point of the road, Pratigi is still totally desert, occupied by coconut and oil palm (dendê) farms from north to south.

The sea is calm, small waves, due to many sandbanks located at 200-300m from the beach.
